About the Author
Sabina Murray is an American writer and professor. She is the author of seven novels, including Valiant Gentlemen, The Caprices, A Carnivore's Inquiry, and Forgery. Her work has been translated into over two dozen languages and has won numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, the Kirkus Prize, the PEN/Faulkner Award, and the Man Booker Prize.
Murray is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She is a professor of English at the University of California, Berkeley.
