In a world on the brink of collapse, one man must fight to survive against all odds.
Jake is a young man living in a small town in the American Midwest. He's always been fascinated by the past, and he's spent countless hours reading about prehistoric times. But he never imagined that he would one day find himself living in a world that was eerily similar to the one he'd read about.
When a massive earthquake strikes, Jake's town is destroyed. He's forced to flee into the wilderness, where he must learn to survive on his own. He's armed with only his knowledge of prehistoric survival techniques, and he must use all of his skills to stay alive.
Jake soon learns that the world has changed dramatically. The animals are larger and more dangerous, and the climate is more extreme. He must constantly be on the lookout for predators, and he must find ways to stay warm and dry.
As Jake travels, he meets other survivors who are also struggling to make it. He forms alliances with some of them, and he learns from their experiences. But he also encounters dangerous people who are willing to do anything to survive.
Jake's journey is one of survival, but it's also a journey of self-discovery. He learns about his own strengths and weaknesses, and he comes to terms with the fact that he may never be able to return to the world he once knew.
